In a news release on Monday, Mar. 30, the KHSAA updated information on the status of the winter sports that were finishing up as well as the spring sports season. The KHSAA dead period for all sports and sports activities regardless of season, still currently set to run through April 12.
• Cheer and dance tryouts have been postponed and must abide by the KHSAA dead period.
• The Girls’ and Boy’s KHSAA Sweet Sixteen remains suspended and will be continually reviewed.
• Archery region and state championships remain suspended and will be continually reviewed.
• Regular seasons, districts, regionals and state championships of tennis, track and field, baseball and softball will be continually reviewed as more information is received regarding school resumption or cessation and under the direction of the CDC and local and state authorities.
