4-H Camp Registration Deadline & Discounted Price Extended

As of 3/26/2020, Marshall County 4-H Camp is still scheduled for this summer! The Marshall County 4-H Council is excited to announce an even more discounted price for 4-H Camp 2020! The new discounted price for the first 75 campers registered by May 1st is now $175! This is an additional $25 off from the original early bird special of $200 per camper.

Marshall County is set to go to 4-H Camp on Monday, June 22nd through Thursday, June 25th with Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, Calloway, and Graves Counties. The fun-filled four day and three-night camp is held at West Kentucky 4-H Camp in Dawson Springs. The planning of great and fun activities, educational programs, and much more are already in the works.

The 2020 Marshall County 4-H Camp deadline has been extended to Friday, May 1st from the previously published date of April 1st. Youth who reside and/or attend school in Marshall County between the ages of 9-14 as of first day of camp (6/22/2020) and going into at least the 4th grade next school year are eligible. Registrations and scholarship applications will not be accepted unless fully completed.

The cost of 4-H camp for the first 75 is $175 per camper. After that, the cost is $250 per camper so signing up soon is a must to lock in the discounted price. This fee includes lodging, meals, transportation, camp T-shirt, and much more. Due to the generosity of local businesses, organizations, and others, there are some scholarships available. Parent/guardians and the camper must complete their respective parts on the back of the Marshall County 4-H camp registration form and scholarship applications must be turned into the Extension Office or postmarked by May 1st to be considered. Registrations will be accepted after May 1st on a space available basis only, but those campers will not qualify for a scholarship.

4-H Camp registration forms are available from the Marshall County Extension Service website at marshall.ca.uky.edu under 4-H Youth Development and/or the Marshall County 4-H KY Cooperative Extension Service Facebook page. Please follow the Facebook page for camp updates and variety of lessons/resources as we all look for fun & interactive things to do at home in the coming weeks. You can also call 270-527-3285 to request a form be mailed to you and/or contact Lena Mallory, Marshall County 4-H Youth Development Agent, at lmallory@uky.edu. The Extension Office is temporarily limiting public access to their facility with staff doing most of their work remotely.

If Kentucky 4-H should have to cancel camp due to COVID-19, all paid 4-H Camp fees will be refunded in full. If campers/families cancel due to any other reasons (e.g., personal schedule changes), then refunds will be based on the Marshall County 4-H Council’s financial policies for camp.
