Calloway County advanced to the title game after beating Murray 66-52 on Tuesday. They were led by Charlee Settle with 26 points and 14 rebounds and the future Murray State Racer was a perfect 8/8 at the free throw line. Murray will not play in the district title game or the regional tournament for the first time since the 2008-2009 season.

The Marshals and Lakers split regular their season games, Marshall County winning 69-61 on Jan. 24 and Calloway County taking a 72-71 win on Feb. 14.

The Marshals finished runner-up to Murray in last year’s district tournament after winning the title over the Tigers in 2018. Calloway County advanced to the title game following Tuesday’s 68-56 win over Murray, led by Chandler Steele with 29 points and 12 rebounds. This will be the Lakers first trip back to the championship game since 2017 when they beat the Marshals 70-58.
