Marshall County’s County Attorney Jason Darnall joined WCBL’s Jeff Waters recently on Coffee Call. Jason talked about several issues, including bail reform, the overcrowding of jails and also a bill that he has introduced that is making its way through the state legislature that would prohibit certain gruesome photographs and videos from being released to the general public, as in the case of the Marshall County school shooting. Jason also talked about other bills moving through the state legislature, including the medicinal marijuana bill, the sports’ gaming measure and the 10 cent tax on cigarettes.
