Ms. Mary Shaw Moffitt, age 34, of Murray, Kentucky died at 10:53am Monday, February 10, 2020 at her residence.
Mary was born July 11, 1985 in Jackson, Tennessee to Jimmy Andrew Moffitt and the late Gerry Shaw Moffitt. She was also preceded in death by her uncles, Clifford Davis, Sidney Moffitt, and John Wood.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and worked in nursing at various places, including, Intrepid, Spring Creek Health Care, and Heritage Manor. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, Zeppelin and Luna, and her cat, Leo.
She is survived by her father, Jimmy Andrew Moffitt, Camden, Tennessee; sister, Sarah Moffitt (Dustin Strode), Murray, Kentucky; her boyfriend, Matthew Morris, Murray, Kentucky.
A visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home and from 11:00am to 2:00pm Saturday at the Pafford Funeral Home, Lexington, Tennessee. The funeral service will be at 2:00pm Saturday at Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Tennessee.
