WCBL welcomed Cindy Hershey and Leann Ferguson, here pictured with Cindy Riley, from the Humane Society of Marshall County to Coffee Call recently. The Humane Society will be hosting their big annual fund raising event, the Sweetie Paws Dinner and Auction Saturday, February 29th from 4:30 to 7 at the First United Methodist Church in Benton. The dinner features wonderful homemade pasta, dessert and drink. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children with tickets available at the door. There will also be a dessert auction, silent auction and live auction. The Humane Society is located on Highway 68 just west of Fairdealing and is normally open for visitors Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 to 4. The animals love visitors.
