Both southbound lanes of the Purchase Parkway continue to be blocked at the 3mm in Hickman County.

Offloading dog food from the semi-trailer is about 2/3rds completed.

Estimated duration is now 2 hours.

A detour remains in place via U.S. 45 southbound between the KY 339 Wingo Exit 14 interchange and the KY 337 Fulton Exit 2 interchange.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan 8, 2020) — Hickman County Emergency Management reports a SEMI crash is blocking the southbound lanes of the Purchase Parkway at the 3 mile marker near the Hickman-Fulton County Line.

The SEMI, loaded with dog food, is blocking both southbound lanes.

Southbound Purchase Parkway traffic is being routed off at the Wingo Exist to follow U.S. 45 southbound to return to the parkway at the Fulton Exit.

Estimated duration is 2 to 3 hours.
