How to Tell if You’re More into Churchianity Than You are into Christianity

You’re more concerned with who might leave then who might attend.

You only love people if you think they’ll be like you once they accept Jesus.

You don’t mind serving the outcast but you don’t want them to join your congregation.

You think that since you’ve never done it that way before, it has to be wrong.

You’re more concerned about your image than being the light in your community.

You know why the other churches in town are wrong and don’t mind telling them.

You put your hope and salvation in a political candidate instead of Jesus.

You have all the answers on theology and anyone who disagrees with you is a false teacher.

You make fun of younger generations on social media and then wonder why they’re leaving your church.

You don’t think Jesus was that serious about loving your enemies.

Doctrine trumps deity.

The name of Jesus is rarely mentioned in your sermons and you’re ok with that.

You’re known for how well you can debate instead of how well you love

The poor in your community wouldn’t notice if your church wasn’t there.

You don’t really believe in grace.

You’re at church on Sunday but rude to the waitress on Monday.

Your church name is what saves you.

Hey Church, we need to shift our focus back onto the Christ if we want to make a difference while we’re here.
