Benton Elementary students create 2D pumpkin zentangles

Benton Elementary (K-1) split including Brittany Ramage, Alicia Brophy, Mandy Miller and Misty Green had a day of STEAM activities. Students in the art activity with the guidence of Mrs. Kristen Bryant collaborated in groups to create 2D pumpkin zentangles. Students within their groups were each given a section to color based on a specific color scheme. The squares were then assembled in order to create a unifying whole. This project also emphasized teamwork. One key to developing strong and effective teams is the ability to appreciate the benefits and differences each team member represents. By embracing our differences students can help create a world where differences are embraced and individuality is celebrated.
