Ford wins at World Skeet Championship in San Antonio

Dr. Kenneth Ford holding the limited edition Remington 1100 shotgun he won at the World Skeet Championship in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Kenneth Ford of Sharpe, Ky., competed in the World Skeet Championship held in San Antonio, Tx. Oct. 1-4 and was the Sub Senior Doubles Champion beating 12 other shooters in a tie breaker with 99/100. He also won AA Class Doubles Champion and received a limited edition Remington 1100 shotgun. Todd Bender from Georgia was High Overall Winner.

Calvert City Gun Club held the Kentucky State Skeet Tournament in August with Dennis Burns of Fancy Farm, Ky. coming away with High Overall Champion. The Fall Skeet Classic Skeet Tournament was held last weekend in Louisville at the Jefferson Gun Club and the big winner was  Dr. Ford, sweeping all but two events.
