Local Woman Publishes Her First Book

A Local Wife, Mom, and Business Owner has published her first book!  Kayla Cutsinger is a Marshall County native that turned her passion for reading into writing.  She said she would often make the comment “I wish I could write a book like this!”, so about 6 years ago she started writing.  She said the ideas came to her very quickly and before she knew it, she had her first manuscript.  Now she is just as passionate about the writing process as she is about reading.

Kayla says she has written 6 manuscripts, and is already working on getting her second book published in 2020.  Her hopes are to eventually publish all of them!  Her inspiration comes from reading other authors’ work.  Her favorite books are suspenseful novels, which is why she decided to write one.  A couple of her manuscripts are Contemporary Romantic, while the others are Romantic Suspense like “Not Guilty”.  Kayla plans to write more, but wants to focus on publishing the other five she has written first.  One of her goals is to write a Children’s Christian Book one day as well!

“Not Guilty” is being independently published through Kindle Direct Publishing via Amazon.  If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, it is available on Amazon in Paperback & Ebook.

The Community is invited to her Release Party and Book Signing to Celebrate Kayla’s first published novel on November 16th at the Main Street Center on the Court Square in Benton from 6pm-8pm.

There will also be a Book Launch and Signing on November 30th during Small Business Saturday at The Book Rack in Murray from 10am to 2pm.

Be sure to get your copy and curl up with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and enjoy!
