Closure along KY 783/Crossland Road in Calloway County starting Wednesday, Oct 9

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 8, 2019) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 783/Crossland Road in southern Calloway County starting on Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

KY 783/Crossland Road will be closed at mile point 1.4 to allow the Farley Branch Culvert to be replaced, as well as ditching and drainage work along the roadway, just north of the Ellis Road intersection.  This is along KY 783/Crossland Road between KY 1828/Midway Road and KY 893/Hub Erwin Road.

The roadway is expected to close at approximately 8 a.m., CDT, Wednesday.  KY 783 is expected to reopen to traffic at approximately 3 p.m., Thursday.

There will be no marked detour.
