Two teams from North Marshall Middle School played in the KPGA Middle School Regional Tournament at Calvert City Country Club this past Saturday and finished first and second to qualify for the Middle School State Championship to be played at Quail Chase Golf Course in Louisville.
Taking first from NMMS with a team score of 151: Trinity Beth 35, Ryan Stokes 38, Hayden Powell 39, Cecelia Ray 39 and Paxton Carter 43.
In second place from NMMS with a team score of 180: Katie Roberts 39, Cohen McLeod 42, Sarah Umbarger 44 and Dillon Robinson 55.
David Jack Morris from South Marshall Middle School qualified as an individual with a round of 38.
Trinity Beth won the individual title in a playoff with Madison Glissen from Lone Oak Middle School.
