Upcoming opportunities to volunteer at shoreline cleanup days at Land Between the Lakes include:

October 12 | Shoreline Cleanup – Birmingham Ferry

October 19 | River Cleanup with Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful

November 9 | Shoreline Cleanup – Sugar Bay Lake Access

December 14 | Shoreline Cleanup – Twin Lakes Campground & Lake Access

We will cleanup our shoreline and back country areas. These locations collect a lot of trash from the rising lake levels and need to be picked up annually. If you are looking for a fulfilling day of saving the Earth one piece of trash at a time, this is the event for you. Volunteers should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle. Trash bags, water to refill and bug spray will be provided. Please keep in mind that locations are subject to change due to the area’s needs.
