Lady Marshals win Graves County Invitational, Howell medalist

The Lady Marshals celebrate their third win of the season at the Graves County Invitational.

The Lady Marshals took the win at the  Graves County Invitational Saturday at Mayfield Country Club. This was the girl’s third win of the season and they won by one stroke over #2 ranked South Warren with a team total of 325. McCracken County place third with 332.

Savannah Howell shot an impressive 3-under par 67 to claim Medalist honors for the second time this season and is currently ranked 10th in the state. Following Howell, Megan Hertter shot 81, Kenley Luksic 86, Elsie Riley and Sarah Umbarger tied at 91.

The Lady Marshals will travel to Lexington next weekend to compete in the KGCA All State Championship at the University Club of Kentucky. The top 15 teams in the state qualify. The Lady Marshals are currently ranked seventh in the state.
