Barbara Cirrito, 82

Barbara Cirrito, age 82, of Benton, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Barbara was born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1936 to the late Clair and Julia Ellis Sutter.  Along with her husband, Joe, she was the owner and operator of Mug & Suds Restaurant which took pride in its home made root beer.  She was an active member in St. Pius X Catholic Church where she volunteered at their annual fish fry’s.  She will be remembered as someone who never met a stranger, funny, outgoing, friendly and loving.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe Cirrito; her daughter, Julie Wininger and husband, Ronnie, of Benton; two sons, Michael Cirrito and wife, Lori, of Symsonia and Shawn and wife, Krystal, of Calvert City; one brother, Fred Sutter; twelve grandchildren, Ronnie Wininger, Jr. (Brandy), Misty Croley (Josh), Bradley Cirrito (Kelly), Amber Cooper (Sean), Austin Cirrito (Summer), Faith Cirrito, Austin Jones, Jericho Cirrito, Christian Cirrito, Jada Renfro, Joshua Pickens, and Reba Pickens; and eleven great-grandchildren, Ronnie Wininger, III, Shayla Wininger, Silas Wininger, Jasmine Croley, Deegan Croley, Becket Cirrito, Owen Cooper, Avery Cooper, Griffin Cooper, Abigail Cooper, and Zepplin Cirrito.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronald Sutter.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am Memorial Mass service time on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
