Tanner English took the #96 to Richmond, KY over the weekend to race for $20,000 in the Butterball Wooldridge Memorial race. He qualified 3rd and went on to win his heat which put him on the pole. Tanner came out strong in the feature with an early lead and kept it for 18 laps before getting caught up in lap traffic and losing the lead to Tyler Carpenter. He held on to 2nd for the remainder of the race, putting him on the podium with his biggest payout yet of $10,000! Congratulations Tanner!
He had planned to race at Brownstown, Illinois Sunday night for $3,000 to win in the MARS show, but unfortunately it was rained out.
