Marshall County hosted Caldwell County and Mayfield for a 7-on-7 competition on the South Marshall Middle School field Monday evening. The passing only, non-contact competition with helmets only from the 40 yard line to the end zone, gave the teams opportunities against each other on offense and defense.
The Marshals participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) 7 on 7 event Friday at Murray State University. Sixteen teams competed in 7-on-7 matches and the linemen’s challenge. Players were also treated to a message from former Murray High coach Steve Duncan.
These early season events help the teams roll into full pad practices and their preparation for the first Friday night under the lights.
