Hazel Gill, 88

Hazel “Bill” Gill, 88, of Bardwell, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

He was born February 10, 1931 in Carlisle County to the late Floyd Gill and Anna Lois Hayden Gill. He was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong farmer.

Bill is survived by one daughter, Janet Gray and husband, David, of Louisville; two sons, Gary Gill and wife, Cindy, of Bardwell, Tony Gill and wife, Pam, of Bardwell; seven grandchildren, Jonathan (Lisa) Gray of Louisville, Jeremy (Jessica) Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio, Matt (Andrea) Gill of Cunningham, Clint (Kacie) Gill of Bardwell, Cody (Natalie) Gill of Melber, Megan Koch of Paducah, Vince Gill of Chicago, Illinois; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Agatha Stigall; one brother, Mahlon Gill, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. David Gray officiating. Burial will follow the service at Old Mayfield Creek Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
