MURRAY-CALLOWAY CHAMBER WINS 2019 NATIONAL CHAMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Our neighbors, Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce, were honored last night to be named the 2019 National Chamber of the Year!  This is their 2nd time to be awarded this since 2012.  Murray-Calloway President and CEO, Michelle Bundren, and Board of Director’s Chair, LaCosta Hays, traveled to Long Beach, California to take part in the competition.  They had already gone through applying for the competition and submitting their written presentation, which was judged as one of the best finalists according to Bundren.

The journey to the final announcement on the stage would not be an easy one!  It would include a lengthy interview of no less than 45 minutes.  Michelle and LaCosta could not have any notes or visual aids of any kind during this interview, only each other and all their knowledge!

If you have ever attended a Murray-Calloway County Chamber event, you know that they go all out in everything they do, and it’s no surprise that Michelle and LaCosta aced their interview and brought home the 2019 National Chamber of the Year again!  They are extremely excited to be sharing this at their 92nd Annual Business Celebration this Friday night!
