Joining us recently on Coffee Call was Laura Bryant, here pictured with WCBL’s Chris Freeland. Laura is the clinical coordinator for the new Wound Care Center at Marshall County Hospital in Benton. She says if you develop a wound for any reason, the best thing to do is to seek treatment, the sooner the better. You can be referred by your doctor or self referral is accepted. Laura says diabetes patients who develop wounds should definitely seek treatment as soon as possible.
