Powell signs with WKCTC girl’s basketball program

Lorin Powell signed Thursday to play basketball at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. She was joined by her parents, Steve and Francie and WKCTC Head Coach Howard Dillard.

Lorin Powell signed her Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah. Under Head Coach Howard Dillard, the WKCTC team plays their home games at Haws Gymnasium.

Lorin has played for the Lady Marshals for the past four years and has played a total of 113 games over that time, averaging 6.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. She had a strong senior season for the Lady Marshals, playing in 31 of their 32 games and was a major contributor both offensively and defensively, averaging 9.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Lorin’s free throw percentage was 63% and field goal percentage 45.2% during her senior season. She proved to be a force in the paint and under the basket for the Lady Marshals.
