The Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce in Marshall County would like to announce that Marshall County High School senior Abigail Oakley, has been chosen as the recipient of their $1,000 scholarship awarded each year to a
deserving local high school graduate. Abigail is the daughter of Kevin and Jennifer of Benton and plans to attend The University of Alabama in Huntsville this fall to pursue a major in Aerospace Engineering.
The Chamber would like to congratulate Abigail on all her contributions and achievements to her school and community during her time at Marshall County High School and wish her much success as she seeks to further her education, pursue a college degree and eventually become an Aerospace Engineer. With all the hard work, dedication and perseverance she has exemplified so far, the odds are great that she will do just that.
