A ribbon cutting was held at Mike Miller Park on Friday to showcase the newly updated splash pad. Jim Defew custom painted each of the spray features making the facility truly one of a kind. The splash pad will now officially be named the Defew’s Body Shop Splash Pad in recognition of their generous donation and work on the splash pad.In addition to the custom painted spray features, a new surface has been installed making the splash pad more colorful and providing a texture that will help to prevent slips and falls.
The Defew’s Body Shop Splash Pad will officially open for the season on Friday, May 24th.
