Vehicle pursuit ends with arrest of fugitive

On May 10, 2019, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies pursued a motorcycle that failed to yield to emergency equipment. This same motorcycle had been pursued a short time earlier in Marshall County, but had avoided apprehension. Following a short pursuit, the motorcycle crashed due to a mechanical failure. After a brief
struggle, the operator of the motorcycle, identified as Christian Tyler Grissom, 24yo of Wingo, KY, was taken into custody. Mr. Grissom was found to have 2 outstanding warrants through Graves County in reference to prior felony charges.

Mr. Grissom was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision before being lodged at McCracken County Regional Jail.

Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree
Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree (Police Officer)
Speeding, 26mph+ over the limit
Operating on a Suspended Driver’s License
Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance
Reckless Driving
Resisting Arrest
Criminal Mischief, 3rd Degree
