McCracken sets new MCHS high jump record

Tori McCracken shattered the track record in the high jump at Calloway County’s Laker Invitational on Saturday, May 4 by six inches. McCracken held the meet record from last year with 5-00 and broke her own meet record Saturday with 5-06. The mark also set a new Marshall County high jump record.

The previous school record was in place around 18 years set by Rebecca Brown at 5-04 which McCracken beat last year with a jump of 5-05.5. She is the reigning KHSAA Class 3A State Champion in the high jump with 5-02.
