Freeman named new Marshall County E-911 Director

BENTON, KY – ​The Marshall County Fiscal Court is proud to announce that Chris Freeman has been hired as the new Director of E-911. Freeman has an extensive background in public safety and was selected for this position for his proven track record and capability to move Marshall County E-911 forward.

Freeman received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University and has worked in the field since beginning as an EMS dispatcher in 1998.

Freeman has been the Director of the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Communications Center since 2017 which is a multi-jurisdictional center serving 60,000 people.
