Chambers signs with Thomas More University football program

Chase Chambers signed with the Thomas More University football program Thursday at Marshall County High School, joined by his parents Brien and Melonie Chambers.

Chase Chambers signed his letter of intent to continue his football career and education at Thomas More University. Chase was a 4-year member of the Marshall County football team and a contributor on the varsity level in his junior and senior seasons for the Marshals.

Chase was a starter on the offensive line his senior season and blocked for an offense that rushed for over five yards per carry. His efforts this year gained the attention of Thomas More University, located in Crestview Hills, Ky. Chase joins the Saints 2019 recruiting class.

“We are very proud of Chase and the hard work that he has put forth during his four years at Marshall County High School”, Coach Evan Merrick said. “We feel that he will be a great asset to the football team at Thomas More University and we wish him the very best in the future.”

Thomas More University is an NCAA Division III program that plays in the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA). Chase will play for Head Coach Trevor Stellman who was named the Thomas More College Head Coach beginning with the 2018 season. Stellman has been with the program for nine years and is a former Saints quarterback.
