First Missionary Baptist Church Health Fair

On behalf of Baptist Health and the Marshall County Health Coalition, the Safety and Security Ministry of First Missionary Baptist Church is proud to announce it’s second annual Health Fair for 2019. This community event is designed to bring you a wealth of information in areas of health care for young and old to safety tips for your home. The Fair will feature a guest speaker who will give a presentation on the dangers and popularity of teenage vaping.  The presentation is geared toward tweens and teens, but will also show parents how to recognize and detect hidden usage. Dr. Pat Withrow, retired cardiologist, Chief Medical Officer, and current Director of Outreach Physician Advisor will be the guest speaker.

The Health Fair will also feature various health screenings and important health related information on several topics from physical fitness to speaking with a pharmacist about your medications. There will be a door prize from the Congregational Network and free gifts from some of the vendors. The Benton Fire Department will also be on hand to discuss fire prevention and safety in the home along with a special give away.

Mark your calendars for May 4th from 9-12pm. Second Annual Health Fair at First Missionary Baptist Church located at 1280 Riley Road, Benton. Refreshments will be served.
