Mr. Kenneth “Tom” Lamb, age 78, of the Dogwood Community passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at his residence.
He was of the Baptist Faith, a retired Maintenance Foreman for Campbell’s Tobacco Rehandling Company, and a retired self-employed farmer.
Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline Omer Lamb; one son, Michael Lamb of Franklin, TN; one daughter, Lisa McAlpin of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Norma Jean Lamb and Carolyn Burgess both of Hickory, KY; two grandsons, Justin McAlpin of Richmond, KY and Nathan Lamb of Franklin, TN; and several nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William M. Lamb; three sisters, Mavis Scott, Hilda Lindsey and Shirley Cox; and his parents, Guy and Ethel Downey Lamb.
Graveside services for Mr. Kenneth “Tom” Lamb will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. April 6, 2019 at Spring Creek Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Baker, Jason Burgess, Randall Burgess, Mitchell Burgess, Jerry Cates and John Winn.
Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
