Celebrating 35 Years at Green Turtle Bay
Grand Re-Opening of Restaurants on April 2nd
April 2nd marks the 35th Anniversary of Green Turtle Bay! To celebrate this monumental occasion, we will be having the Grand Re-Opening of Dockers Breakfast on the Bay and The Thirsty Turtle Tavern.
Dockers “Breakfast on the Bay” is scheduled for a new beginning on April 2nd. A new menu featuring wonderful eggs Benedict delights, a variety of omelets and scrambled egg dishes, along with Belgian waffles, delicious pancakes and your favorite Dockers breakfast dishes. Our now famous Village Market coffee will be served along with some other surprises not yet revealed. Hours will be 7am – 1pm daily during the boating season and on weekends during the shoulder months.
Dockers menu will be limited to breakfast items with a few classic bridge selections. For lunch our Green Turtle Bay trolley service will take boaters, condo guests and other customers to the Thirsty Turtle Tavern. Hours will be 11am – 9pm during early Spring, and staying open later during the Summer season. There they can enjoy an expanded lunch menu including the best pizzas on the lakes, great burgers and Kentucky Lake catfish as well as BBQ sandwiches and their favorite beverages. If they linger over lunch on the weekends they will be treated with an evening of live entertainment which has been scheduled for every weekend and holiday all summer long. Lots of fun for both young and not so young with outdoor checkers, bean bag toss and other games and events.
To help kick off Green Turtle Bay’s 35th Anniversary, we are going to do a major give away for the month of April. If you stay in one of our beautiful condominiums any time in April and once you have paid your balance off for your stay, the name the reservation is under will go into our drawing that will be held the first week of May. We will draw 35 winners who will win a GTB gift card for $35 each and one special winner will win a two-night stay in one of our two-bedroom condos.
