Marshall County Elks Lodge members take veterans with PTSD on guided fishing trip

The Marshall County Elks Lodge #2707 hosted a guided fishing trip for 13 veterans who have PTSD on Saturday, March 23rd. The group fished out of Moor’s Resort and Marina at 7 am and then they were led back to Elks Lodge by the Patriot Guard to eat lunch with the Elks members.  This is the second year that they were able to do this thru a grant they received.  The Elks Lodge and their members also made a trip to the Marion VA Hospital on March 9th to deliver goodie bags to veterans and $1700 worth of therapy equipment for the VA to use with stroke victims.
