Marshall County anglers third, Washburn wins Big Bass on Kentucky Lake

Seventy-two teams with 146 high school anglers representing 11 schools took to Kentucky Lake Saturday in the Marshall County Irish Spring Tournament. At the 3:00 p.m. weigh-in at Kentucky Dam Marina, the Calloway County team of Myles McManus and Ethan Tidwell took the win with the only five-fish catch of the day weighing in at 23 lbs. 14 oz.

Taking second from Christian County, Tyler Harrison and Ty Blanton with a three fish weight of 12-5 and third went to Parker Patterson and Javon Book from Ohio County with three fish weighing 10-9.

Marshall County’s top finish came Chase Webb and Ethan Riley with a three-fish catch weighing 8-1 good for 7th place. Tanner Smith and Clay Tucker, finished 10th with two fish weighing 7-4. Marshall County anglers followed up that 10th place in the next three spots with 11th going to Coner Washburn and Marshall Gregory with one fish weighting 6-13, 12th went to Evan Bremmerkamp and Nathan Steele with a two fish weight of 6-5 and 13th place with a two fish weight of 5-4 went to Landon Chiles and Garrison Darnell.

Five more Marshall County teams were among the 31 out of 72 teams that weighed fish.
19th – Tyler Bates/Keaton Boddy, 1 fish at 4-10
20th – Dathan Harrell/Dan Slusser, 2 fish at 4-8
21st – Harlan Thomas/Tristen Barrett, 1 fish 4-4
26th – Blake Robinson/Carter Beliles, 1 fish 3-3
30th – Dyver O’Bryan/Sam Mann, 1 fish 2-13

Marshall County’s Conor Washburn won Big Bass with a fish weighing 6-13.
