City of Paducah Temporary Closure of Park Areas Due to Flooding
(PADUCAH, KY) – Due to localized flooding, the Paducah Parks & Recreation Department is closing several City park areas to the public effective immediately.
The following areas are experiencing flooding and are now closed to the public:
Disc Golf Course at Stuart Nelson Park
Greenway Trail between Noble Park and Stuart Nelson Park
Greenway Trail between Stuart Nelson Park and County Park Road
Several sections of the gravel section of the Greenway Trail are under water. Road Closed signs are in place to alert the public.
The Parks & Recreation Department will reopen these facilities after waters recede and the areas are free of debris.
