This week’s Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week is the Marshall County High School varsity boys basketball team who finished 4th District runner-up Thursday and will continue their season into next week’s Region 1 Tournament at the CFSB Center in Murray.
They defeated Calloway County 56-50 in Tuesday’s 4th District semi-final to meet Murray in the final and punch their ticket to the regional tournament. The Marshals have a record of 13-18, eight of those losses by five points or less.
Coaches are Head Coach Terry Birdsong and assistants Lyndon Dunning, Sawyer Donohoo, Cole Nelson and Derek Morse.
