The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has moved ahead with base repairs along a section of US 641-Business/North 4th Street in Murray for TODAY and Thursday.
This work requires a closure of the southbound lane of US 641-Business/North 4th Street between Pine Street and Olive Street.
The northbound lane remains open to provide acess to the Calloway County Judicial Building, Imes Funeral Home and Law Offices near Olive Street.
This effort includes base repairs by the Calloway County Highway Maintenance Crew and repairs to city infrastructure by the City of Murray Public Works Department. .
Due to the extent of the repairs, the southbound lane of US 641-Business/North 4th Street will remain closed into the day on Thursday to allow concrete uses to repair the driving surface to cure.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
This work was originally planned in mid-January, but has had to be delayed due to weather conditions. The attached map is dated from that original planned start date.
