Miller, Ives crowned 2019 Homecoming Queen and King

2019 Marshall County Basketball Homecoming Queen and King, Whitnee Miller and Griffen Ives.

Marshall County seniors Whitnee Miller and Griffen Ives were crowned 2019 Basketball Homecoming Queen and King Friday as voted on by the student body and basketball team. Miller is the daughter of Tim and Nancee Miller of Benton, Ives is the son of Curt and Stephanie Ives of Benton.

Members of the 2019 Homecoming Court were freshman Tia Thorpe, escorted by Gage Griggs; sophomore Cayson Conner, escorted by Evan Oakley; junior Emma Smith, escorted by Carson Denfip. Senior candidates were Abby Oakley escorted by Griffen Ives; Sydney Smith escorted by Jake Luebker; Taylor Droke escorted by Jesse Weber; Tera Colson, escorted by Luke Wood; Whitnee Miller escorted by Taylor Edwards.

The 2018 Homecoming Queen Chloe Kerrick and Parker Jennings presented the new Queen and King. Kerrick is a student at Western Kentucky University and Jennings is a student at Murray State University.
