You are invited to our 2019 Severe Weather Workshop scheduled for Monday March 18 from 9 AM – Noon in Paducah. This year we are excited to have Mr. Steve Piltz, Meteorologist-in-Charge of NWS Tulsa, OK who will be talking about the Great Tri-State Tornado of 1925, including recent historical research on our nation’s deadliest tornado. Steve is from Murphysboro, IL, which lost 234 people in the Tri-State Tornado. Our workshop will also consist of a tabletop “hot seat” exercise which should provide for a very energizing morning!
