Christian Fellowship is 12 events into their archery season with the Maroon Classic at Madisonville North Hopkins next weekend and the Region I Tournament Feb. 8 at Trigg County. Senior Autumn Kammerdiener has led CFS in scoring in all but one archery competition in which she took second to teammate Trent Mason, a middle school student. Mason has been consistent for CFS as well with four second place finishes to go along with the first place in 3D Challenge among CFS archers at Graves County Jan. 19. Middle school students Miles Yates, Jeremiah Hudson and Dawson Hicks have also been at the top of the CFS standings this season.
Over 200 competed at Saturday’s Marshall County Bulls Eye Blowout and NASP/IBO 3D Challenge. Kammerdiener led CFS in both the Bulls Eye and 3D Challenge. Hudson was second among CFS archers in Bulls Eye and Skylar Tran second in 3D Challenge.
The archers shoot six rounds of five arrows with 300 being the maximum possible score.
