On Tuesday 1/15/2019 around 12:00 P.M. Sgt. William Treadway was dispatched to a residence on E. 18th Street on a report of a male pulling a gun on a female there at the residence. At the time of the call, the male with the gun left the scene walking toward the city park. Sgt. Treadway located the individual on Park Ave. in front of the community building. Chief Hicks along with several deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to the residence on E. 18th Street. Sgt. Treadway arrested Joshua K. Walker ( Paducah) for Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon after a 9mm pistol was located. He was transported to the Marshall County jail where he was additionally charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree ( lortab pills).
Kash H. Perez (Benton) was cited to court at the residence on E18th Street for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The investigation is continuing by Sgt. Treadway and additional charges are pending.
