Five Marshall County football players receive All-WKC honors

On Dec. 12, the West Kentucky Football Coaches Association held their annual banquet in the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center at Marshall County High School. Twenty schools make up the Western Kentucky Conference (WKC). Five players from Marshall County were recognized for their achievements on the field this past season. Seniors Austin Riley and Blake Strader and juniors Ty Buchmeier and Dawson Smothers received Honorable Mention. Senior Chet Cretsinger received 1st Team All-WKC honors for offensive line and was one of only five offensive lineman in the conference to receive such an honor.
