This week’s Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week is the Lady Marshals varsity basketball team. The team started the season with a 5-0 record, their best start in three years, before falling 47-35 to Murray High. The first five wins were 57-47 over Massac County, IL and 67-55 over Lakeway Christian Academy, TN in the Marshall County Hoopfest. They defeated Livingston Central 69-25, McCracken County 78-34 and Ballard Memorial 71-17.
The Lady Marshals are headed to Washington, D.C. to play two games Dec. 15-16 in the National Monument Hoopfest at Woodrow Wilson High School.
