This week’s Lyles Eye Center Team of the Week is the Marshall County Swim Team. The team began their season in Hopkinsville on Nov. 17 at the Rich Cohn Invitational, then traveled to Madisonville Nov.19 to compete at the YMCA where the team took third overall. Nov. 27 they competed in the McCracken County Sprint Meet at the Paducah Athletic Club where the boy’s team took second and the girl’s team placed third.
This year’s team is 30 members strong with seven seniors and are coached by Melvin Gordon and Laken Adair. Their next meet will be Dec. 8 at the Owensboro Health Park in the Candy Cane Classic.
