Lady Marshals 69-25 win over Livingston Central

Lorin Powell had 13 points in the Lady Marshals 69-25 win over Livingston Central.

The Lady Marshals start their season 3-0 after their home win over Livingston Central Monday. Eleven different players scored in the 69-25 win, led by Cayson Conner with 14 points and Lorin Powell with 13.

Kerah Davidson scored the first points of the game for the Lady Cardinals, tied by Lady Marshal Presley Jezik. Tied again at four a piece, a basket from Halle Langhi gave the Lady Marshals a lead they maintained from that point on. Ten points from Conner and six from Langhi led the way in their 34-4 first quarter.

Jezik opened the second quarter with a three as the lead stretched out to 42 points before Livingston Central stopped the run on a basket by Payton Dudley. At halftime, the Lady Marshals led 48-10 behind 10 points from Conner and eight by Lorin Powell in the half.

Four points each from Conner and Langhi led in their 11-point third quarter and a 59-16 lead. Powell scored the first six points of the fourth quarter and three points from Sarah Stokes closed the game out. Livingston Central was led by Dudley with eight points and they fall to 0-4.

The Lady Marshals will tip-off at 6:00 Friday at McCracken County, JV game starts at 4:30.
