A night of “Orange Madness” for basketball fans

Marshall County fans were treated to a night of everything basketball, from middle school scrimmages to alumni games Friday at Reed Conder Gymnasium. The evening began with introduction of both South Marshall and North Marshall girl’s and boy’s teams followed by scrimmages. Cheerleaders from both middle schools performed followed by a the MCHS Dance Team and Cheerleaders.

Alumni games featuring former Lady Marshals and Marshals was a highlight of the evening with the Marshals alumni game going into overtime, then sudden death with the game winner coming on a 3-pointer dropped in by the Orange team’s Mason Wooten.

Big Orange Madness concluded with introductions and scrimmages by the Lady Marshals and Marshals. The Lady Marshals will open the regular season at the Hoopfest on November 29th against Massac County at 7:00 pm. The Marshals will open at Muhlenberg County on November 27th at 7:30 pm.

Members of the Krazy Ladies honored one of their own, Kathleen Wyatt, who passed away on Friday.
