She was the 2017 Region 1 Player of the Year and selected to the 2017 and 2018 All-State 2nd Team.

“Hallie is an outstanding young lady and leader and will be an amazing asset to the University of Tampa girl’s golf program”, Head Coach Stephanie Fisk said. “Hallie has an incredible work ethic and drive as well as leadership qualities that have led her team to two consecutive regional championships.”

Members of Hallie’s family were on hand for her signing on Wednesday at Marshall County High School.

Hallie is respected and loved by her teammates, a well-rounded young woman and is an inspiration to classmates, players, church members and family members. She is considering majors in animal programs or sports training while at the University of Tampa.

“I was looking at schools in the south so I could play year around”, Hallie said. “The program at the University of Tampa had a great foundation and I was impressed with the support from the coaches and team.”

Many have helped Hallie develop her talent and love for the game of golf including her parents Derek and Jill Riley, her swing coaches Todd Trimble, Nick Mills and Nick Newcomb, her fitness trainer Mitchell Lamm, former and current MCHS coaches Vince Doom and Stephanie Fisk and many other local and state coaches along the way.

“Hallie has been such an amazing asset to the MCHS golf program and her abilities as well as her drive are going to be major contributions to the University of Tampa”, Fisk said. “I am beyond blessed that I have had the opportunity to know and work with her for the last four years. We are truly going to miss her.”
