KY Transportation Cabinet personnel have been out in Ballard County and McCracken County since early this morning spot-treating bridges, overpasses and culverts as light snow moved along the Ohio River counties. Ballard County sent one truck out and Ballard County sent 3 trucks out on snow & ice patrol.
Paducah 911 Dispatch reports a 2-vehicle crash on the US 60/US 62 Beltline Overpass in the last few minutes.
At this time pavement temperatures have held at about 34 degrees.
Motorists should always slow down and use appropriate caution when pavement is wet or subject to freezing when temperatures fall below 32 degrees.
The Snow & Ice Team is monitoring a weather system that is expected to arrive Wednesday into Thursday.
