Mrs. Joan Semar, 85, of New Concord, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Semar was born on August 22, 1933 in Chicago, IL to the late Frances and Margaret McFall Fitzgerald.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stroening; a daughter, Kristie Stroening and a brother, Jimmy Fitzgerald.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Danny Stroening of Round Lake, IL; two daughters, Jenny Crawford (Jason) of New Concord, Laurie Houghton of Richmond, IL; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
