Dayime Closures on KY 786/Mayfield-Metropolis Road in Southern McCracken County Resume Tuesday, November 13

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to resume daytime closures along a section of KY 786/Mayfield-Metropolis Road in southern McCRACKEN County starting Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

KY 786/Mayfield-Metropolis Road will be closed from the 0 to 2 mile marker in McCracken County during daylight hours to allow base repairs to the roadway.  Due to the positioning of equipment to facilitate the repairs and the location of some damaged areas in the middle of the roadway, the crew will have to close the roadway during the work.

This closure is at the southern end of KY 786/Mayfield-Metropolis Road between KY 339/Old Clinton Road and KY 1438/New Hope Church Road.

The roadway at this site is expected to close at about 8:00 a.m., CST, each day.  It is expected to reopen to traffic around 3:30 p.m., each day.

Weather permitting, these daytime closures of KY 786/Mayfield-Metropolis Road are expected to continue through Friday, November 16.

There will be no marked detour.  However, motorists may self detour via KY 339 and KY 1438.
