KSP Makes Drug Arrest after Pursuit in Marshall County

Calvert City, KY (October 24, 2018) Kentucky State Police Trooper Donald Bowman was on routine patrol in Marshall County on Interstate 69, when he attempted to stop a 1995 Harley Davidson motorcycle for a speeding violation.  The operator of the motorcycle, Roy N. Guill, 37 of Carrsville, KY, speed up and attempted to elude Trooper Bowman.  Guill was traveling westbound, and exited onto Interstate 24, traveling to US 62 and stopping on Lone Valley Road.  Guill was taken into custody without incident and lodged into the Marshall County Jail. Guill was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine, Speeding, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (motor Vehicle), Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree Police Officer, No motorcycle Operators license, failure to comply with the helmet law over 21 years of age, failure to produce Insurance card, Possession of Marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
